Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
